VIPER was originally written by enigmatic songwriter Peter DeGroot of Keizer, Oregon, who by our latest calculation has written about 2,000 songs. In fact, Peter wrote 13 other songs the day he wrote VIPER, but it's still arguably the best example of his pop brilliance. For this single, VIPER is recorded by Murmuring Pines with a red-hot vocal exhibition from Lilly Gemany. Murmuring Pines members span Oregon's greenery from Silverton to Salem, Corvallis to Portland.

BRAGGING RITES is a wistful coming of age story from singer/song-wrecker Kevin Rafn. BRAGGING RITES shines with the choral glow of the Pinettes: Katy Allen, Lilly and guest Beth Scheppke. Bass by Tom Nunes, drums by Ezra Holbrook, barnyard guitar from Kevin, along with bassoon and french horn, round out the concise sweep of BRAGGING RITES.
